Image Analysis

We found it quite difficult to determine the orientation of MIR in our picture despite searching through many pictures and diagrams on the Internet. Eventually we found a plastic construction kit in a local shop and after a couple of evenings of gluing and painting we had a model which we could then photograph from various directions. Many thanks to Tom Erkenswick at NASA who helped us determine the final orientation.
