At last! our long awaited combination of ISS, shuttle, clear skies and a high elevation pass over Manchester. The results speak for themselves. The station is seen here in XVV mode once again, on board the crew were preparing to detach the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module and return it to the cargo bay a few hours after this pass. Tracking was lost just prior to the station going into eclipse losing about 20 seconds from the end of the pass. Also visible for the first time on our ISS videos was a star in the background. Analysis using Sky Map Pro 8 showed that this was star TYC 434-4234-1 Magnitude 6.5 which the ISS passed at an apparent separation of 5'.
